OPPORTUNITY #1:
Work on the beautiful shores of Lake Chelan! Manson Parks is searching for an experienced Aquatic Supervisor to lead our team in 2026! This is a full-time seasonal position with negotiable start/end dates. We are looking for an independent and energetic aquatics professional to redevelop and implement the community’s Free Swim Lessons program. Duties include staff hiring and training, development of a swimming lesson program curriculum (consistent with state and federal laws and regulations), scheduling, recordkeeping, public engagement, and park rule enforcement as needed. Candidates must have at least 3 years of aquatics experience, with 2 or more years of leadership with progressively increasing levels of responsibility. American Red Cross (or equal) certifications required include Waterfront/Deepwater Lifeguarding, First Aid/CPR/AED. Preferred certifications include Lifeguard Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, Lifeguard Management, and Water Safety Instructor Trainer. Manson Parks is searching for seasonal Lifeguards and Swimming Instructors to add to our team in 2026! Primary duties include lifeguarding, teaching swim lessons, and promoting safety for park patrons. Lifeguard candidates must be 16 years of age or older and have (or be able and willing to obtain) American Red Cross (or equal) certifications including Waterfront /Deepwater Lifeguarding and First Aid/CRP/AED. Swimming Instructors must be at least 16 years of age and have (or be willing and able to get) any required certifications. Manson Parks is looking to add a seasonal Boat Launch Attendant to our team in 2026! Duties include greeting boat launch visitors, assisting with the pay station, ensuring smooth flow of traffic, ticketing, litter removal, and restroom cleaning. Must have valid Washington State Driver license with no major infractions. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be able to pass a background check if age 18+.
